Ladies Council
Every 4th Tuesday evening (7PM) of each month the ladies of the church meet for a time of fellowship. Each meeting is conducted as a business meeting discussing various social aspects of the church. The meeting is concluded with devotions and refreshments. To date the ladies council has been responsible for:
Charitable work in the form of:
An Annual Christmas Angel Tree
Benevolent dinners for family members
Adopting needy community children
Assisting local schools with school supplies
Assisting United Christian volunteers
Social Events in the form of:
Fellowship Dinners
Annual church picnic
Mother/Daughter Luncheon
Ladies Breakfast out
Ladies Night out
Decorative items in the form of:
Hanging of the Greens at Christmas
Monthly/Seasonal decorations in the sanctuary
Table decorations in the fellowship hall
Building Responsibilities:
Kitchen organization/cleanliness
Various redecoration and updates of Sunday school classrooms
Care and upkeep of children’s rooms including Nursery
Care of floral/landscaping on outside of building
Spiritual Aspects of Congregation:
Assistance with Vacation Bible School
Assistance with Youth activities
Assistance with Camp activities
Assistance with Ladies Retreat activities
